Dedication of Historic Plaque donated by Arcadia Historical Society
On Friday, October 18th (4 – 6 pm) Arcadia Historical Society will unveil the new historic plaque at the Depot on the grounds of the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden. Park in the lot adjacent to the Depot.
Saturday 19th at 2pm
Feature Presentation of the Arcadia Public Library
“Parker Lyon and His Zany Museum”; Saturday, October 19th @ 2:00 pm; Cay Mortensen Auditorium at the Arcadia Public Library. Find out more about this unusual man and his extraordinary Pony Express Museum.
Wednesday 23rd from 5 – 6:30 pm
“Talkin’ History” Reception and Presentation
“Adams Pack Station and the Old Camps of the San Gabriels”; Wednesday, October 23rd from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at the Floretta Lauber Education Center (Gilb Museum). Join us on this nostalgic journey to forgotten outposts of our local mountains.
ADMISSION IS FREE! ALL ARE WELCOME! NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED!
