The Arcadia Congregational Church and the Arcadia Historical Society are coming together this year for a Fall Festival and Yard Sale on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The Fall Festival and Yard Sale runs from 8 a.m. until noon at 2607 South Santa Anita Ave. The Arcadia Historical Society has had an office in Prince Erik Hall on the grounds of the Arcadia Congregational Church (United Church of Christ) since January and recently geared up for its first open house. Arcadia Congregational Church has always held an annual yard sale.
In putting two and two together, or in this case, ACC and AHS, it seemed only natural to hold the activities on the same day and create an event. Joining in the fun will be the Arcadia Civic Youth Council, made up of primarily Arcadia High School Students.
ACYC teamed up with AHS for several projects over the past summer. ACYC will assist with the activities for children and adults: bake sale, beverages, balloon animals, crafts, music, juggling, dress-up, selfies with the historic police car, and more.
Come on out, because with these entities coming together, it will be triple the fun.
