The Arcadia Historical Society has installed markers around town to broaden public awareness of Arcadia’s history.

NO. 1: FIRST AVENUE SCHOOL
Site of Arcadia’s first schoolhouse, a yellow clapboard building erected in 1907.

NO. 4: ARCADIA WOMAN’S CLUB
The club house dates back to 1931. The Arcadia Historical Society can be traced back to this century-old club.
