1959 Galaxy Cruiser
The Arcadia Historical Society will participate in History Day L.A, to be hosted by Azusa Pacific University on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Along with a table of nostalgic Arcadia artifacts, an area has been reserved for our classic 1959 Ford Galaxy 500 Arcadia Police Car! History Day L.A. is part of a national competition for 4th through 12th grade students in Los Angeles County schools.
What an opportunity this is for the Arcadia Historical Society to introduce our rich Arcadia history to local schools, and at the same time make friends and enroll new members in our organization! The event times are from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We hope to see you there!
