The Arcadia Historical Society was on hand Opening Day at Santa Anita’s Winner’s Circle to congratulate the winner of the Fifth Race Friday, September 30, 2011. Present in the Winner’s Circle were Society Directors Carol Libby, Scott Hettrick, Sandy Snider and Sho Tay, as well as Arcadia Historical Society President Gene Glasco.
The Arcadia Historical Society is an ardent supporter of various community activities, and plays an active role in preserving and promoting the rich history of early Rancho Santa Anita, known today as the City of Arcadia, California.
