Arcadia Historical Society is helping to maintain, through their “Protect and Preserve” program, Arcadia Police Departmnent’s 1959 classic Ford Galaxy 500 police car. Full-color, original-looking decals reading “Arcadia the Queen City” were replaced on this classic Arcadia police vehicle. 1959 was the first year for “black and white” patrol vehicles in Arcadia, and the first year the city seal appeared on the them.
